If it’s time to place your child in pre-school or a daycare there will be some homework that must be completed. Here are the most important safety tips for children that can be helpful when looking for a daycare or pre-school center.

1. Make sure that the program is reliable and whether the school has been the subject of any complaints in the past. It could be about parents, previous teachers, or caregivers. Also, you should know about the teachers who are currently in charge.

2. Discuss with other mothers about what they do with their kids. They’ll tell you whether they have had a good experience or not.

3. If you’re new to the neighborhood, you should visit the receptionist in your neighborhood’s pediatrician. They’re familiar with everybody! They have an eye on the community.

4. Find out about the school or the center’s hiring procedures and policies. Find out if they verify references of the applicant, run background checks, and check prior employment records before hiring.
